Stunning Houseboat in Seattle
I must admit I am a bit jealous of Sue, the owner of this Seattle houseboat. The idea of living near water in a cozy home really sounds good to me. It gets better for me with the fact that this houseboat isn't in a tropical place as I couldn't live in constant hot weather. I think Josh and I would be very happy in this home, except it is not where God wants us right now.

Made a Mano: Uniting the Traditional and the Modern
I love this tiling from Made a Mano, a Danish/Italian company whose goal is "“to create a collection of tiles, countertops and sinks, combining ancient traditional handicraft with modern techniques. Revealing a sure sense of beauty and style.”
All products are worked entirely by hand in Sicily, Italy.

Robert Doisneau - Paris 1940s, 1950s
Robert Doisneau was one of the first photographers I came to know of. The photograph above was framed in in the TV room of the home where I grew up. These photographs really capture some amazing moments of the old times in Paris.
"I like people for their weaknesses and faults. I get on well with ordinary people. We talk. We start with the weather, and little by little we get to the important things. When I photograph them it is not as if I were examining them with a magnifying class, like a cold and scientific observer. It's very brotherly. And it's better, isn't it, to shed some light on those people who are never in the limelight".
